An ABC spokesperson claims that they were planning to release the first 18 minutes ahead of the premiere date anyway. In any case, you can watch the first 18 minutes here and now!

EDIT (10/15/09): We had to remove the video because ABC decided it was a good idea to replace it with a Miley Cyrus video. But that’s okay, because the show has started.
