While the episode title was a little confusing, it makes all the more sense now. Additionally, this episode was a definite improvement over last episode’s boring love story. It was probably the best episode this season in our opinion, and it was so exciting it was over before we knew it.

We also showed our disgust for the lazy synopsis writers at ABC again. They’re such an easy target.

Also, thanks to our listeners who participated by calling in and leaving a voicemail (813-964-7526) or sending us an e-mail (blac...@blackout217.com) with their comments, theories, etc.!

FlashForward isn’t going to be back until March, but we will continue to make podcasts as often as possible (as information about the show permits). If you have anything to contribute, please use the contact information in the paragraph above to get it to us. We already have a couple contributions from fans that we will be dedicating our “hiatus” episodes to! Now is your chance for your voice to be heard (or your words being read by us).

Did the executives at ABC accidentally have the Grey’s Anatomy writers script this show? It played out more like Twilight than what we’ve come to expect from FlashForward.

Not to mention the less-than-suspenseful “cliffhanger” at the end. It’s not really a way to captivate the audience right before you take a week hiatus for Thanksgiving. We would have liked to see something a little more profound.

With that being said, our listeners sent in some really awesome theories about the show. You have to listen!

Did you find it odd that no one was upset that Disney’s Jett Jackson died? I mean, hell, Mark and Olivia went on a romantic getaway.  I guess they were too happy that Janis came back to work…I would be too. Mmmm, Janis.

And Tracy was missing a leg! Our listeners gave us that theory a few weeks ago! We’ve got some smart listeners. Ourselves though? Not so much.

A much more manageable title this time around, though the synopsis writers for ABC really need to up their game.

No more Disney’s Jett Jackson, but it gives some revealing of the mystery. We also talk about a certain actresses revealing a little skin! How about that cliffhanger at the end though? “Hi Dad.” WHOA!

We loved all the feedback via e-mail and twitter, keep it up!

episode1.03

The title of this show for Episode 3 is in German, ja. Well, the proper German title would be: Hundertsiebenunddreißig Sekunden, but the producers  of the show went for the numeral value of the number instead…I wonder why? Sekunden as we learn, means “seconds” in nazi-prisoner Herr Geyer’s native tongue. He claims to know why 137 is such an important number in this whole blackout mess.

Some “flashes” for this episode:

  • Demetri meets up with his fiancée who tells him about their wedding in her FlashForward
  • Mark and Janice fly to German to meet with a nazi-prisoner who claims to know about the blackout event
  • Aaron exhumes his daughter’s body; the DNA test results return as a positive match
  • We see a Flashback to Ganwar, Somalia 1991 where a massive loss of consciousness occured

FlashForward’s premiere show starts off with a bang! Well, a car crash technically. There are so many questions to be answered already: What caused all of this and why? Why doesn’t Dmitri have a vision? Who is the man that didn’t blackout? And what was with the kangaroo?

  • Recap of the week’s FlashForward episode in under 2 minutes 17 seconds
