Blackout2:17 is designed to give you the latest behind-the-scenes updates, spoilers, news, and gossip revolving around ABC’s new TV show: FlashForward.

From the co-writer of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, David S. Goyer, and loosely based off of Robert J. Sawyer’s 1999 novel FlashForward, the TV show FlashForward starts Thursday, September 24th, 8 p.m. EST and you can be sure we’ll have a first look at this surefire hit show.

We’ll have a podcast released each Friday following the show and several blog posts in between during the week. You can subscribe to our RSS feed to be notified of any updates we make to the page or look for us on iTunes.

Below you can play our first unofficial episode of the Blackout2:17 podcast. It gives an overview of the show, describes the major characters, explains how our show will bring you the best and most entertaining info about FlashForward, and gets you prepared for ABC’s answer to filling the gap LOST will leave behind after its final season in 2010.

And in case you’re not familiar with the show yet, the major plot line revolves around an event that causes everyone in world to simultaneously blackout for 2 minutes and 17 seconds, hence the name of our Web site.
